I created an interactive experience based on the second Hunger Games movie; Catching Fire. The experience was aimed at Madamme Tussauds in London and I pitched my ideas to the artistic directors of the company. The first 5 images show the queueing system, this was a spiral shape so you could not see the end of it until you were there. Projections covered the walls of information about the tributes and Panem so the audience was constantly occupied with information and imagery so they would not get bored. There would also be clips from the movies on the walls for the audience to recap on the stories. Wax figures of Katniss and Peeta greeted people at the end of the queue and using speakers they, along with more projections on the walls, would explain what the 'tributes' were about to take part in. The audience would then enter a lift and go up a floor in a group of around 24. Once out of the lift they would be given laser guns and sent in to the arena in pairs or threes once every minute. The 'tributes' would go through 12 rooms, each representing one of the sections of the clock in the Catching Fire arena, and shoot their laser guns at targets around each room.
